Kay Kukich tells us that she is able to get group rates for tickets to both the classical and pops concerts presented by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. The pops concerts are on a Sunday afternoon and the price is $35, well below the normal price. Classical tickets are a bit more expensive as the seats are in the orchestra section of Heinz Hall. If you are interested, please contact Kay. |

- SOUTH HILLS LUNCHEON GROUP (updated 12/28/2010) -- This group's meeting place is AL'S CAFE located in Bethel Park at 440 McMurray Road. You can arrive between 11:30 am and Noon on the First Monday of each month -- except for July & September when they meet the Second Monday of the month. Ask the host/hostess where the Alcoa retiree group is meeting that day. Lunch is ordered from an extensive menu and served at tables nearby. It is a great way to see and converse with our fellow retirees. Reservations are not needed. Turnout for this luncheon is substantial -- men and women -- generally in the mid-teens, often more. For additional information contact Doug Mahrer.
- NORTH HILLS LUNCHEON GROUP (updated 11/13/2021) -- This group meets the Second Tuesday of the Month at 12:00 Noon at the Sesame Inn on 711 Browns Lane . To confirm information contact Ken Goodboy.
